You can catch Joey Bada$$ on TV these days, as the rapper has a role in USA Network's "Mr. Robot" alongside main actor Rami Malek. In addition, he's been working on new music and he's about to go on tour, so he's got a lot on his plate. The New York native visited Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club where he discussed all this and more.
Ever the intellectual, Joey was apparently browsing The Breakfast Club's bookshelves prior to the interview. He speaks on being an avid reader at the start of the sit-down, revealing what book he's currently into. From there they discuss his foray into acting briefly, and how a lot of fans at his concerts are white, with Joey's hypothesis being: "them white people, they can afford them tickets. I really started keeping that in mind for my upcoming shows and tours, I'm really tryna lower the ticket price."
For the remainder of the interview, Joey discusses the neighborhood he grew up in and avoiding run-ins with the law, the passing of Capital STEEZ and more.
