Chance the Rapper takes Coloring Book to "GMA."

Chance the Rapper hit Good Morning America's Times Square studio Monday morning to perform Coloring Book track "Summer Friends." He was joined by Francis and the Lights, who produced the rack, and his old SoX partner-in-crime Peter Cottontale.

Before the performance, Chance granted an interview that covered a variety of topics, including his desire to be open about his religion.

"People are afraid to speak about God to a certain extent," he told GMA host Robin Roberts. "And I think if you're not free to speak about God, then you're not free."

He also talked about playing tribute to Muhammad Ali at the ESPYs, scoring a spot on President Obama's summer playlist, getting nominated for an MTV VMA, his upcoming Magnificent Coloring World Tour, and more.
