It's been a big year for the good homie Statik Selektah. He put out a rock solid cover-to-cover albums in Lucky 7 and he became a father (the "Harley's Blues" drum loop samples the actual heartbeat of his newborn daughter Harley).
Now he is the subject of a new mini-documentary from Revolt TV that gives a glimpse into how he put the album together.
The doc primarily comprises of behind the scenes footage of him working with Your Old Droog, Bodega Bamz, Rapsody, the late Sean Price in his humble studio. An interview with Statik is interspersed throughout and the doc ends with Joey Badass show at Terminal 5 in NYC (Statik is Joey's DJ).
