The first time we heard Paloma Ford was on Meek Mill's "I Don't Know," billed as the single from the first incarnation of Dreams Worth More Than Money. Since then, we've got a couple of tracks fronted by Paloma, and while she proved her ability to write a sunny summer pop jam, "Jada" slowed things down, with its steamy, hypnotic balladry.
It's an update on the dark, propulsive T-Minus-helmed R&B we started hearing after "I'm On One," fitting in with the sound of Tinashe's last project. The stylish, black-and-white video establishes Ford's aesthetic, preparing us for her debut EP, which we assume is on its way soon.
