Paloma Ford returns with "Nights I Cry," a single from her forthcoming project, "X Tapes."

It's been four years since Paloma Ford delivered her debut Nearly Civilized, and the singer is readying the release of her forthcoming project X Tapes. Paloma recently told us that X Tapes encompasses her true-life experiences she went through while dealing with love and loss, and today she's dropped off her latest single "Nights I Cry" that sounds as if it's taken right from the throes of heartache. The melancholy R&B jam will have you all in your feelings and along with the track comes a sultry, accompanying late-night visual.

“I envisioned the visual for ‘Nights I Cry’ to match the vibe of the song; a song that reflects those nights spent alone with the thoughts of the relationship running through your head," Paloma said. “It’s something you can ride out and smoke to... I had this picture in my head of riding through LA in a drop-top and making it a statement, as well as a vibe. We had to work with a small team and limited resources because of the lockdown, so I’m immensely proud of the final product.” Give "Nights I Cry" by Paloma Ford a few spins and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

Looking back on how many nights I cried
All the moons you weren't by my side
All the pain you put into my life
