Skyzoo treats us to a video for his song "Luxury" off his brand new album Music For My Friends. The song features an old-school NYC-style beat produced by Zoo himself, and he
delegates hook responsibilities to Buffalo rapper Westside Gunn, which sounds the like the name of a Dion Waiters-style shooting guard in the ABA.
The Pixelmotiv Media-directed black-and-white vid follows Skyzoo, Westside, and their crew of ladies as they whip around Brooklyn in the white Beamer convertible before headed to the rooftops. A very Brooklyn video all and all. Towards the end and impressionable young/studious black teenager witnesses the Skyzoo crew sipping champagne, counting money, basking in opulence, thus flipping the notion of luxury on its head. With great luxury comes great responsibility.
