A few days ago, Isaiah Rashad, the lone Southern member of TDE, confirmed that his debut album -- the follow-up to 2014's Cilvia Demo EP -- will be the label's next project, set to drop on Sept. 2. After Rashad, the LA powerhouse will continue to churn out projects, as TDE President Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith revealed today that Ab-Soul recently turned in the final mixes for his next album. He hasn't released an album since 2014, his last one being These Days...
Now that the mixes have been turned in, a release date for Soulo's album is "coming soon," said Tiffith on Instagram. He then told his followers that he was about to get on the phone with TDE's only female signee, SZA, suggesting that another album from her is also on the horizon. Yet to release an official album on the label, her last project was 2014's Z EP.
And if that wasn't enough, Tiffith let fans know that the recording of Jay Rock's next album, the follow-up to last year's 90059, is 80 percent finished. He shared the update with a studio video of Jay Rock listening to a new cut off the forthcoming project.
Top Dawg ain't slowing down anytime soon!
