MTV News caught up with RZA last week, and talked about the recent recording sessions for Wu-Tang Clan’s upcoming project A Better Tomorrow.
During the brief chat, RZA recalled a time when Inspectah Deck questioned his lyric choice on a song they recorded for the new project, and feeling like he had to prove himself, RZA says he rapped for an hour straight then. Ultimately, all this lyric talk got RZA excited as mid-interview he decided to start spitting an unreleased verse because well... he’s the gawd.
Check out his quick bars above, and look for Wu-Tang Clan’s upcoming project, A Better Tomorrow, to arrive December 2nd.
In other related news, Wu-Tang just recently talked about why the world never heard the remix to Drake’s “Wu-Tang Forever” record. Read what they had to say about that here.
