Aside from Taylor Gang, Pittsburgh hasn't been a traditional hip-hop breeding ground. That seems to be changing, though, as two new artists, Hardo and Jimmy Wopo, have been emerging out of the Steel City at a rapid rate. They're putting on for their city in a big way with the release of their new joint mixtape, TRAPNESE. Wiz Khalifa, an ever-important guardian of the Pittsburgh scene, assists the duo on "Today's a Good Day," which arrived a couple of days ago via a HNHH premiere. TGOD's Chevy Woods also shows up on "Run Them Bandz Up."
For production, Hardo and Wopo enlist the likes of Stevie B, Big Jerm, and Frenzy. Last but not least, the tape contains the hottest item of the holiday season: a feature from 21 Savage. Stream TRAPNESE via HNHH, or check it out on iTunes.
