On the same day that XXXTentacion passed away, another promising young rapper was shot dead in Pittsburgh. Jimmy Wopo was destined for big things, signing to Taylor Gang just days before his death. While he never got to experience the major push that he would have gotten, his memory lives on through the music he recorded during his time here. "Blue Hunnids" is one of the first songs on Wiz Khalifa's Rolling Papers II, which features a posthumous verse from Wopo as well as an appearance by Pittsburgh rapper Hardo. We've heard a few other tracks from the late rapper since his passing but today, we get the video for his Wiz feature.
"Blue Hunnids," much like the title suggests, is a celebration of money. There are scenes of strippers raking up carpets of cash as Wiz and Hardo spit into the studio microphone. The Wopo chain lives on here as Hardo keeps it alive, rocking the ice during the video shoot. The clip ends as a photo of Wopo meets our gaze, remembering his life as the Pittsburgh rappers do everything in their power to ensure he isn't an afterthought.
Check out the video above and let us know what other songs on Rolling Papers II you want to see in video form. R.I.P. Jimmy Wopo.
