SZA is a fan of "Bodak Yellow," evidently.

SZA recently kicked off her tour in support of her amazing album, CTRL. The tour hits over 40 different cities in North America, Canada not forgotten. She'll be on the road for the remainder of the month, and well into September, but it's already gaining notable coverage in just the first week.

This past week, SZA hit two Canadian cities on the CTRL tour, Montreal and Toronto. Both proved to be eventful, although, perhaps Toronto was moreso-- at least for SZA -- she linked up with the 6 God backstage, who also stood on the side of the stage for the evening, capturing footage of SZA's performance for his Instagram followers to see. Now we just need a collaboration between these two, imagine all the vibes. Let's put that out into the universe.

However, Montreal was also super lit (I was there). The singer not only proved her vocals are just as crisp live as they were on her finely-produced album, but this girl took no breaks, hitting song after song, with the only intermissions happening when she asked the crowd if they loved before she put out CTRL (crowd said yes) and when she explained the idea behind her "Prom" record. She made use of her stage, dancing and leaping across it, in what can only be described as very causal wear.

While most artists come back out to do an encore and play more of their own songs, SZA did not. She came back out to the intense banging of "Bodak Yellow" and proceeded to rip off the first few bars, before dancing and disappearing into the crowd. Cardi B has since caught wind and thanked SZA heavily for her show of love. Cardi B wrote on Instagram in response to the footage of SZA doing her "Bodak Yellow" rendition: "Yaaaaaaaaaassss!!!!! This got me dumb hype .Thanks @sza your sooo book and humble 😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️"

We'll have to see if SZA makes this a nightly event as part of her tour. Two of the dopest female artists in the game showing each other love is never a bad thing. Check out my quick little Instagram video of the "Bodak Yellow" cover below.

Is "Bodak Yellow" the #1 song yet? And if you haven't yet, listen to CTRL album here, her tour stop will hit Boston tonight, before heading to Brooklyn.
