Mystikal is one of two charged for a rape that reportedly took place at a Shreveport, LA casino last October.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Mystikal for a charge of first degree rape in Shreveport, Lousiana. The charge stems from an alleged sexual assault that occurred in October 2016. The 46-year-old rapper (real name Michael Tyler) and a 26-year-old woman named Averweone Holman both face a first degree rape charge for the incident. Holman was arrested Friday in Killeen, Texas, while Mystikal is still sought by police. Bond is set at $2 million each, according to KSLA.

The alleged assault took place in a downtown Shreveport casino, which is also the day Mystikal's Southern Hip-Hop Tour was in town. Investigators collected "witness statements, statements from the victim, and physical evidence from the scene," with the physical evidence being submitted to North Louisiana Criminalistics Laboratory for DNA analysis. Sex Crimes Investigators have reportedly linked Mystikal to the alleged rape through DNA evidence.

According to KTAL, an associate of Mystikal and Holman is said to have approached the victim about dropping the charges after following warrants for the alleged crime. Wafford was later served a warrant for her arrest in which she was charged with Accessory After the Fact to First Degree Rape. Her bond was set at $200,000.

Mystikal served 6 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexual battery in 2003. The charges came from an incident in which the rapper forced his hairstylist to perform sex acts on him. While he initially argued that the acts were consensual, a videotape was later found in his home and was eventually viewed by the judge at sentencing. Mystikal continued his music career after he was released in 2010, signing with Cash Money Records and appearing on Mark Ronson's "Feel Right" single in 2015. In 2012, he was given a misdemeanor domestic abuse charge following a dispute with a domestic partner. He served a three month jail sentence for violating the terms of his probation that were set following his release in 2010.

Mystikal and his team have not made a public comment on the charges. As of publication, he has yet to be arrested.

A report from KSLA can be viewed below. Further updates to come as information arrived.
