It's the Chicago duo's first project in 6 years.

Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks are gearing up to release their long-awaited follow-up to 2011's When Fish Ride Bicycles, their last album released under The Cool Kids moniker. After announcing their official reunion last July, the duo have now revealed that their second studio album Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe will be released on September 15th.

After each releasing a handful of solo material over the last few years, Chuck and Mikey decided it was time to get the band together, which Chuck addressed in some tweets last summer. "I called Mikey and realized nothing would feel better than us being the originators again," he said. "The Hiatus is over. We missed being us. We refuse to let people down and not be the actual group. We been through too much. So prepare for things to go back to they were supposed to be. The Cool Kids together is what is right in the world. It's on."

"I can't say I've felt more complete as an artist than to be back with my brother to give the world what we started," Chuck revealed. "We really felt like we hadn't really finished what we started. They took our styles and ran off. We coming back for it all."

The album was originally called Shark Week before being retitled Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe this year. The LP will be released shortly after the duo's upcoming TV show over Labor Day Weekend. "WHILE ME & CHUCK BEEN WORKING ON THE NEW ALBUM WE BEEN WORKING ON A COMEDY SHOW CALLED THE SHIT SHOW," Sir Michael Rocks revealed in January.

The two have released a number of singles over the last year, including last month's "Checkout," a minimal track that picks up right where they left off at the top of the decade. Other recent releases include "TV Dinner," "U Are In My System," "Connect Four," and "Running Man." As a tracklist for the project is yet to be revealed, it is still unclear which, if any of the songs, will appear on the album.
