Carmelo Anthony is reportedly open to waiving the no-trade clause in his contract should the Knicks strike a deal with either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Houston Rockets.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Rockets are actively pursuing trade scenarios for Melo, though discussions around the league have yet to gain traction on a deal.
Obviously, the Cavs have always remained a preferred landing spot for Anthony, who he would likely sign with if he secured a buyout with the Knicks.
As of now, the Knicks have resisted the idea of a buyout in hopes that one of these two trade partners can come up with enough assets to foster a trade.
