The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to beef up their roster this off-season by adding a veteran All-Star, whether it be through trade or free agency.
Of course, the Cavs have serious interest in Paul George although it remains to be seen if they can find a third team to facilitate a trade that would land the All-Star forward in Cleveland.
Another player that has been linked to Cleveland is Carmelo Anthony, who is still under contract with the Knicks at two years and $54.2 million.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein and Chris Haynes, the Cavs are the "leading contenders" to sign Melo if he's able to secure a buyout this offseason, which is a real possibility.
The same situation could play out in Chicago, and if Dwyane Wade secures a buyout he is another leading candidate to sign with the Cavs.
