With Steve Kerr unable to coach, assistant Mike Brown has been the man in charge of the Golden State Warriors which might be the easiest job in the sport. All you really need to do is show up and let Curry, KD, Klay, Draymond and co. get to work.
However, just showing up to the arena proved to be more difficult than Mike Brown expected last night.
Prior to Game 2 against the Spurs, which the Warriors won by the final of 136-100, Mike Brown told reporters that he was late to the press conference because he almost got arrested while trying to pull into the arena.
Brown told reporters,
"So I'm like, 'OK.' [They're] on motorcycles, right? If I scoot a little closer, they'll get a little scared because I know I'd get scared. I start scooting forward. And then an SUV pulls up, and I hear them over the loud speaker: 'Hey, you, in the Range Rover. Stop! Right now! You heard the officer! Stop! So then I got scared. I'm like, I've got five cops around me, so I just stopped."
And Spurs coach Gregg Popovich saw the whole thing.
