The ill-fated relationship between Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran is lingering in court. The model wants to impose a permanent restraining order on the singer, whom she accuses of issuing death threats against her and assaulting her in the past.
Mark Geragos, Breezy's celebrity attorney, told TMZ Tran's allegations are baloney. He also stated her restraining order case is "doomed to failure." Wednesday, yet another court hearing was postponed because Tran has been unable to serve Brown with the necessary legal documents. Geragos refused to accept service on behalf of his client.
"A lot of people use Chris to enhance their profile," the lawyer said. "I'm not here to help anybody increase their profile for self-promotion."
Tran's manager Jacob York fired back at Brown's camp, saying, "please don't use Karrueche's name to distract from your client's current negative issues ... let's handle it in court." He said there's no way the model would attack her ex to increase her fame.
Chris Brown is currently on The Party tour across America.
