Pharrell will induct Nile Rodgers Into The Hall Of Fame Next Month.

To induct disco legend Nile Rodgers into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, organizers picked superstar producer Pharrell. The two collaborated on Daft Punk's 2013 hit "Get Lucky."

The two performed it live at the 2014 BRIT Awards along with "Good Times" and Pharrell’s "Happy."

Fact Magazine reports that Rodgers will become the seventh person to receive the Award for Musical Excellence. Meanwhile, his band Chic were nominated but not chosen to enter the hallowed halls of American music. Last December, the band announced that their first album in 25 years, It’s About Time would drop sometime in 2017.

The induction ceremony will take place on April 7 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Alicia Keys, Indigo Girls and Lenny Kravitz will perform. Other inductees include ELO, Joan Baez, Journey, Pearl Jam, Yes and Tupac Shakur. Snoop Dogg will be on hand to induct 2Pac.
