Russell Westbrook made one thing very clear after last night's game against the Golden State Warriors and the way he was disrespected by Zaza Pachulia- "I don't play that game."
Westbrook hit the deck last night after a collision with Zaza and then the Warriors' big man stood over Westbrook's body as he lay face down on the court. Upon watching a replay of that moment Westbrook told reporters, "I'm gonna get his ass back. Straight up. I don't play that game."
Today, the media informed Zaza Pachulia that he has a target on his chest but he didn't seem the least bit threatened or worried.
According to the Washington Post, Zaza said the following in regards to the play,
“I was there, so whatever I did, it was me,” Pachulia said. “I’m in charge for my behavior.”
In regards to Westbrook's post-game comments he added,
“Bring it on,” he said. “Bring it on.
“I’ll be there. I’ll be in OKC, too, so whenever he wants, my pleasure. My pleasure.”
The next time these two teams link up it will be back in Oklahoma City on Saturday, February 11th, and it will be the first time Kevin Durant returns home as a member of the Warriors.
