Zaza!?

The NBA has released the All-Star balloting after the first week of fan voting and, unsurprisingly, LeBron James is the leading vote getter in the league with 595,288 votes. Kyrie Irving is second in the Eastern Conference with 543,030 votes but it's the third leading vote-getter in the East that might come as a surprise.

Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo currently has 500,663 votes and looks poised to make his first All-Star appearance this season. Only seven players in the NBA have more than 500,000 votes right now.

In the West, there's a MAJOR surprise as well. Golden State's Zaza Pachulia, averaging 5.2 points per game, currently has the second-most votes of any front court player with 439,675 votes, trailing only Kevin Durant, and well ahead of Kawhi Leonard.

The guards in the West right now are led by Curry and Harden, although Russ is right there in the race.

It's important to note this is just the fan vote, and the NBA has announced that the fan vote will count for 50% this year, while the players' vote and media vote will account for 25% a piece when it comes to selecting All-Star starters.
