Kendricks misses out on 500-yard incentive.

Los Angeles Rams tight end Lance Kendricks fell one receiving yard shy of cashing in on a $250,000 incentive this season, after his 12-yard performance in the Rams' season finale against the Cardinals.

Kendricks played in all 16 of the Rams' games this season but was only able to rack up 499 receiving yards which was just 36 measly inches short of hitting the 500-yard performance-based incentive in his contract. If only Jared Goff could've called one more quick dump pass to him on the final game of the season.

Kendricks isn't the only NFL player who missed out on some major coin in the final game of the year, though. Minnesota's Marcus Sherels missed out on $100,000 for leading the NFL in punt return average when Kansas City's Tyreek Hill took his only punt of the day 95 yards to the house.

Misery loves company.
