Future NFL Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald isn't ready to hang 'em up just yet.

The Arizona Cardinals' all-time receiving leader has signed a one-year deal and will be returning for his 16th NFL season, as announced by the team today.

Fitzgerald, who will turn 36 before the start of next season, ranks as the franchise leader in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, total touchdowns and 100-yard games. His 16,279 receiving yards rank second on the NFL's all-time list and he is third in receptions with 1,303, just 23 behind Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez for second all-time.

"No player has meant more to this franchise or this community than Larry Fitzgerald," team president Michael Bidwill said in a statement. "In my discussions with him, it was clear that he is as driven and passionate as ever. We are thrilled he'll be back in 2019."

Arizona selected Fitzgerald third overall out of Pittsburgh in the 2004 NFL Draft and he has spent his entire career with the team. Despite a down year across the board in 2018, Fitz still led the Cardinals in receptions (69), receiving yards (734) and receiving touchdowns (6).

The Cards finished the season at the bottom of the NFL standings with a 3-13 record, meaning they'll have the first pick in April's NFL Draft.
