Four days after "1017 vs The World," Lil Uzi Vert has announced the sequel to his breakout tape, "Luv Is Rage."

UPDATE: Shortly after announcing the tape, Lil Uzi Vert has already shared a snippet off of Luv Is Rage 2. This particular song is a new sound for Uzi, with a smoother, more lyrical appeal, in contrast to his usual snappy turn-up bangers.

Lil Uzi Vert is officially in Super Saiyan mode. After surprising fans with 1017 vs The World, a joint project with Gucci Mane, last week, he has already announced another mixtape. 1017 vs The World was Uzi's third tape of 2016, and one would think that next on his to-do list is his debut album. Before that, though, Uzi has indicated his plans to drop "the real one," hinting that 1017 vs The World was something of a teaser. Though he didn't offer a date, it seems that he is ready to drop Luv Is Rage 2, which will be the sequel to the mixtape that ushered him into the spotlight.

Going off the tweet with which Uzi announced Luv Is Rage 2, it looks like he has also started working on what will be his first official album. However, in an ensuing tweet, he seems to cosign a fan's idea about making Luv Is Rage 2 an official album. Whatever he decides to deem the project, there will be no shortage of raucous turn-up music from the 22-year-old Philly wild child in the near future. It looks like his stock will continue to rise in 2017.

The original Luv Is Rage, released late last year, was one of the most popular tapes of 2015, with hits like "Banned from TV," "All My Chains," and "Yamborghini Dream," featuring Young Thug. Wiz Khalifa was also a guest (on "Queso"), and production came from the likes of Maaly Raw, Don Cannon, FKi, and TM88. Cop it here
