Sixers center Joel Embiid will finally be making his NBA debut, after having been sidelined for two straight seasons. The Sixers selected Joel Embiid third overall in the 2014 draft, as Sam Hinkie's "Trust The Process" mantra finally seemed be paying off.
Hinkie has since been fired, but his "Trust The Process" slogan lives on in the hearts of the Philly faithful, including Embiid. In fact, the 7'0 phenom has formally requested that the Sixers public announcer, Matt Cord, introduces him as Joel "The Process" Embiid.
What's more, the 22-year old big man has already made the adjustment on his instagram page which is the 2016 equivalent to legally changing your name. Joel is now officially "The Process."
