Keak da Sneak is making headlines for leading police on a car chase this weekend.

According to CBS Sacramento, Keak, 38, was driving his 1988 Ford Mustang through Hercules, CA, just north of Oakland, when a police officer tried to pull him over. He did not pull over, and police pursued for a quarter mile until he lost control of his car. According to officers on the scene, Keak tried to run into a random apartment and was subsequently arrested on charges of driving on a suspended license and evading officers.

Keak is a Bay Legend best known for coining the term "hyphy," his song "Super Hyphy," and rapping a verse on E-40's ultimate hyphy anthem "Tell Me When To Go." His manager confirmed the arrest in a post on his Instagram page. “Keak is not at all proud of the actions that took place but is very thankful that he was able to walk away from the situation with his life," he wrote.
