2016 Emmy Awards Nominations Announced

And the nominees are...

The nominations for the 68th Emmy Awards, which recognize excellence in the television industry, have officially been unveiled so let the speculation begin. 

The 2016 Emmys, which will air on September 18th on ABC, honor the best shows and performances on television from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016.

Game Of Thrones' Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow, will be going up against Peter Dinklage, aka Tyrion Lannister in the category of "Best Supporting Actor In A Drama" while their co-stars Emilia Clarke, better known as Khaleesi, will go toe to toe with Lena Headey aka Arya Stark for "Best Supporting Actress In A Drama."

"Black-Ish," "Veep," and "Modern Family" have all been nominated for best comedy, "Game Of Thrones," "House Of Cards," and "The Americans" will al do battle for "Best Drama" and "The People Vs. OJ Simpson" has dominated the "Supporting Actor In A Limited Series" category.
