2016 is the year of the Kobe. After hearing rumors that Nike plans to re-release one of every Kobe signature model in the coming months as part of the “Fade to Black” pack, we have more news about Kobe Bryant’s signature sneaker. This time, Nike is using the Kobes to appeal to college sports fans.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that any of these sneakers will be getting a public release, but with the NCAA March Madness tournament on the horizon, we can be sure that tournament hopefuls will bust these out sometime soon. Specifically, Nike is created shoes for the University of Oregon, Duke University, Kentucky University and Michigan State University.
The shoes each have a nice blend of colors and utilize the Flyknit material for a gradient effect near the ankle. As an added touch, each sneaker sports the school’s logo on the insole. As expected, the Oregon Ducks Nikes are by far the brightest.
Any alums of these schools want to weigh in? Would y’all cop if these became available?
