The latest luxury brand designer to partner up with Nike is Louis Vuitton's men's style director, Kim Jones. He recently took to instagram to post a teaser image about the upcoming collaboration which will reportedly release in July as in celebration of the Olympics in Rio.
In an interview with Vogue, NikeLab's senior design director, Jarrett Reynolds said this about Jones' upcoming Nike collab;
“He knows tech, and he’s been part of street culture forever, so he spoke the language of Nike culture.”
This news comes just after Nike released a sneaker and apparel collection with Balmian's creative director, Olivier Rousting.
According to reports, Jones has also enlisted the help of Riccardo Tisci and Undercover's Jun Takahashi for this footwear and apparel collection which will be called "Summer Sport."
The collection still hasn't been revealed but since the release date isn't far off we'll update this post once the pieces become available.
