Shortly following the somewhat lacklustre G.O.O.D. Music compilation album Cruel Summer, a few members of G.O.O.D. Music began promoting/discussing a follow-up compilation, aptly titled Cruel Winter. Things got confusing from there, as no one seemed sure (G.O.O.D. Music members themselves were divided) if the release was actually happening-- that was three years ago, and we were left with sentiments like Cruel Winter "could have" happened (meanwhile Travis Scott has always insisted it's happening).
Whatever's happened internally with G.O.O.D. Music, Cruel Winter appears to have finally come together-- after a couple of Snapchat previews/rumors circulating, Kanye West confirmed the album this morning by way of a tweet. He's premiering the album's first single on Big Boy, like, right now. Literally.
Tune in here. We're not sure what it's titled (Kanye didn't say), but it features: Kanye West, Desiigner Travis Scott, Big Sean, Quavo, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane. Jesus.
