The Minnesota Timberwolves' #1 overall pick, Karl-Anthony Towns, was named the 2015-16 NBA Rookie of the Year today in unanimous fashion. All 130 voters selected Towns as the Rookie of the Year and it should come as a surprise to no one.
KAT didn't miss a beat making the transition from Kentucky to the NBA this season, averaging 18.3 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks to go along with an impressive highlight reel of jaw dropping plays. Oh yeah, and he also took home the coveted Taco Bells Skills Challenge trophy during All-Star Weekend.
