EDM/Hip-Hop Crossover Fails

Since the EDM explosion started making its way into hip-hop, we have been given some really awful music.

Ever since electronic dance music exploded a half-decade ago, the rap industry has been tapping in to the DJ culture in hopes to exploit it for some radio air time. Artists like Steve Aoki, David Guetta and Tiesto have offered their bottle-service beats up to the likes of otherwise-solid MCs such as Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. The results are usually less than amazing, but some results are downright offensive.

That's what this article is all about: the offensive. Those songs (and in other cases, discographies) that are so terrible that you actually are offended someone lumped it under the same umbrella term that also encompasses the music of J Dilla.

Flo Rida, Pitbull, Chris Brown: enough's enough.

Some of the worst fails when it comes to blending hip-hop with EDM are here. Hit play with caution.
