Vic Mensa took action Tuesday night in the streets of Chicago protesting against the killing of LaQuan McDonald.

In case you missed it, Chicago officials released footage on Tuesday afternoon of a white police officer fatally shooting a 17-year old black male, Laquan McDonald, back in October of 2014. Soon after the footage had surfaced, protestors took to the streets of Chicago demanding justice for Laquan's family, and one person in particular who partook in the righteous action was hometown rapper, Vic Mensa.

Rallying amongst the people, Vic can be seen in various pictures & clips that were uploaded on Twitter. In one particular tweet, Vic says “We out in downtown Chicago right now. I just got hands put on me by police. We want justice for Laquan and we want justice for our people."

Fellow Chicago homie & artist, Chance The Rapper, also touched on the subject matter this evening as well, but only via twitter as he wasn’t in the Windy City to take action next to his Save Money brother.

Check out the evidence of Vic in action below. #Salute
