Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Rams announced that they had signed Odell Beckham Jr. to their roster. After clearing waivers on Tuesday, OBJ had free reign on who he wanted to sign with, and in the end, he chose the Rams who have been pretty great this season. Fans were incredibly excited to see how OBJ would play, especially when paired with receivers like Cooper Cupp and Robert Woods.
Unfortunately, the Rams got bad news today as it was revealed that Woods suffered an ACL tear and would be out for the rest of the season. This is not the news fans wanted to hear, however, many noted how it's a good thing that the team had signed OBJ just in time for this kind of incident.
Heading into Monday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers, it was uncertain as to whether or not the OBJ would be available as he still needed to get in tune with the team's offense. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, it is now being reported that Beckham Jr. will play on Monday night as he is now needed more than ever.
This should be fantastic news for the Rams, specifically Matthew Stafford who will now get to throw to one of the best talents in the entire league.
