This week was meant to be a joyous one for the Los Angeles Rams and their fans as the team announced the signing of Odell Beckham Jr. Odell is one of the most talented receivers in the entire league, and fans know that he will make their offense that much better. With Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods on the offense, OBJ is simply a luxury that makes the Rams that much more overpowered.
Unfortunately, the OBJ signing has ultimately been tainted due to some devastating news involving Woods. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the wide receiver ended up tearing his ACL at practice on Friday, and while the team originally thought it was going to be all good, it ended up not being the case.
As Schefter points out, it's a good thing the Rams signed him as he is now needed more than ever. The Rams need a second superstar wideout, and OBJ fits that description perfectly. Of course, it has already been stated that OBJ will be a game-time decision for Monday, although, given the circumstances, it is now looking more likely that he will be in the lineup.
This is a developing story so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest details.
