The wait is almost over fans. Frank Ocean just took to his Tumblr page Monday night and hinted at the possible title and release date for what most likely is his next album.
According to the post, the follow up to 2012’s channel ORANGE might be called Boys Don’t Cry. Revealing that he’s got “two versions” of it, Frank appears to have also hinted at a release date for the album as well, indicating that July might by the lucky month.
The Grammy-Award winning singer has been in the studio working with producers Hit-Boy, Rodney Jerkins, Happy Perez, Charlie Gambetta, and Kevin Ristro on the new album. He also went his separate way with his management team too earlier in the year, signing up Hollywood agency ID PR.
While we await further updates on the album, check out some of Frank’s loose records that he’s periodically dropped recently with “Memrise” and “At Your Best”. Fans can look forward to seeing Frank on Chance The Rapper’s next album as well.
[Update]: A rep confirmed with Billboard that the album is indeed coming in July, but a title has yet to be revealed. We'll keep you posted on that!
