The Billboard Hot 100 has been updated and Tekashi 6ix9ine has earned his first-ever #1 record with "Trollz." It becomes Nicki Minaj's second #1 record of the year, her first as a lead artist.
While Tekashi is surely excited about this moment in his career, overcoming the odds and proving all of his doubters wrong by allegedly earning the song with the highest number of pure sales this year so far, he thinks that another rapper should have been at the top this week.
"Lil baby deserved it not gonna lie BUT I waited on this forever," wrote 6ix9ine on Instagram.
He's referring to the Atlanta rapper's new single "The Bigger Picture," which addresses the racial tension in America. The track debuted at #3 on the chart, which is the highest that Lil Baby has ever been on the Hot 100.
Some fans may think that the rainbow-haired menace is being sarcastic but, last week, 69 admitted that Baby is actually his favorite rapper. Although we're sure he's pleased to finally have a #1 record to his name, he's likely not lying when he says that he thinks Lil Baby deserved that spot.
What do you think of 6ix9ine debuting at #1 with "Trollz?" Should it have been Lil Baby instead?
