6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj hit some big milestones with their latest collaborative effort, "TROLLZ."

Ever since 6ix9ine came home from jail, he has been claiming that the deck has been stacked against him. Of course, it all started with his single "GOOBA" which was getting little to no play on the radio. The rainbow-haired rapper began advocating for the song to go #1 and when it didn't, he blamed some of the biggest pop artists in the world of foul play. When he dropped "TROLLZ" with Nicki Minaj, 6ix9ine brought that same skepticism to the table as he anticipated some more manipulation at the hands of Billboard.

Well, as it turns out, 6ix9ine's worries were all for nothing as today, he was given the first-ever number one song of his career. That's right, "TROLLZ" is now the number one song on the Billboard Hot 100. After being sentenced to prison time, many thought this feat wouldn't be possible for 6ix9ine, although here we are.

In the coming hours, we're sure 6ix9ine will be taking to social media with some braggadocios remarks about how he overcame adversity. This is quite possibly the biggest accomplishment of his career, so it would be a mistake to think he would go quiet all of a sudden.

As for Nicki Minaj, this is the second number one hit of her career, and coincidentally, her second of 2020. The first was the "Say So" remix with Doja Cat.
