Ever since we were introduced to him on Earl Sweatshirt's 2010 debut, Vince Staples has been making increasingly more noise in the rap game with each passing year. This year, the 21-year-old put out his mixtape Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2, got big looks on Common's new album and signed to Def Jam, and now he's ready for his first commercial release.
The Hell Can Wait EP drops on September 23rd, and will feature the dope, recently-released tracks "Hands Up" and "Blue Suede." In a new interview with XXL, Staples says “I got Aston Matthews and Teyana Taylor [on the EP]. Besides that it’s just me. I’m not for the features for the sake of features. I want it to really fit and align well with the project” He added that No I.D., Infamous and Hagler handle production.
Stay tuned to HotNewHipHop for that EP drop on September 23rd.
