Rick Ross discusses the new album "Mastermind" with Angie Martinez.

Rick Ross unleashed a full album stream for his anticipated Mastermind album last night, which is Rozay's sixth studio LP. Ross has been dubbing the project, which is executive produced by Diddy, his best yet. While we'll have to give it a thorough listen to decide on that, what are your initial impressions?

Rozay has been keeping the promo going for Mastermind, which officially drops next week, with a recent interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez. During their conversation, the two discuss Diddy's contribution to the album, specifically the Biggie-inspired "Nobody" which dropped the other week. The MMG Bawse detailed the process for "Nobody", as well as enlisting Diddy as an executive producer.

"I was maybe 80% done with my album when I went and played it for him [Diddy]," Ross said during the interview. "I just told him, I just want it to feel like the '90s, you know, the mid-90s. And I asked him what I was missing. And you know, he told me."

The rapper continued to discuss "Nobody", revealing it was initially a French Montana idea. "Me and French was in the studio, and French actually cooked up the idea. And I was like yo, even before I played it for Puff, I reached out to D-Roc, you know that's my big homie, that's Biggie right-hand man. He gave me that approval."

Ross went on to reveal that Diddy's skits through out the record were from real life events-- he wouldn't reveal who exactly Puff was talking too, but he did say it was "real talk."

"What I did next was, Puff talkin' that talk. That was real talk. That wasn't studio," Ross said. "Yo. Who exactly he was speaking to, I'm not gonna say his name, but this was real. This was definitely Puff in one of those zones, and the lil homie from Revolt, he captured it."

Listen to the audio from the interview below. Mastermind arrives on March 4th.
