Young & Doncic unanimous selections for All-Rookie First Team.

The NBA has today revealed the All-Rookie Teams, highlighted by the Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic and Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young - both of whom received 100 out of 100 possible First Team votes.

Doncic, the favorite to win Rookie of the Year, finished with 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6 assists per game, while Young posted 19.1 points, 8.1 assists and 3.7 steals per game. In addition to Doncic and Young, the All-Rookie First Team includes Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (195 points; 95 First Team votes), Jaren Jackson Jr. (159 points; 60 First Team votes), and Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III (156 points; 56 First Team votes).

According to NBA.com, this marks the first time since the 1984-85 season that the first five selections of the NBA Draft earned All-Rookie First Team honors. 34 years ago the All-Rookie Team selections were Hakeem Olajuwon (No. 1 pick in 1984), Sam Bowie (No. 2), Michael Jordan (No. 3), Sam Perkins (No. 4) and Charles Barkley (No. 5).

The All-Rookie Second Team includes Los Angeles Clippers teammates Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Landry Shamet, as well as Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton, Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Kevin Huerter and New York Knicks' big man Mitchell Robinson.

The NBA All-Rookie Teams were selected by a global panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. The media voted for five players for the NBA All-Rookie First Team and five players for the Second Team at any position. Players received two points for each First Team vote and one point for each Second Team vote.
