Are you ready for James Bond's 25th tour of duty?

The 25th James Bond film is revealing itself bit by bit. Before today, the film's producers have kept a tight lip about the film's major plotlines, shoot location, and most importantly, the cast of characters who've signed on to compliment Daniel Craig in the titular role. This morning to be precise, the JB Twitter leaked a few details regarding the film's inevitable release without playing itself out of position. Here's what we know about the 25th iteration thus far.

Where?

The Jamaican locale depicted in the post isn't necessarily where the story will unfold. As you know, JB is a globetrotter with the passport privileges only bestowed to members of the intelligentsia. So, a fixed locale seems out of the question, based on the history of the franchise.

The Jamaican villa depicted in the post is where Ian Flemming penned the archetypal character before it was adapted to fit the silver screen. The film's production will be hosting an information session at the iconic villa in the coming days - at which point, additional information regarding the franchises' 25th film will certainly be discussed in fuller detail.

The Plot

The major plotline in Bond 25 starts up on a perturbing note for 007 in particular. as his vacation plans in Jamaica get interrupted by a persistent friend from the CIA who tracks him down via helicopter. Bond is no fool. Airplane mode only works on civilians for minutes at a time. True to form, James Bond doesn't recede into his beach chair when issued a challenge.

"The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology," the film's synopsis reads.

Cast

It was widely known that Daniel Craig would return as "James Bond." Otherwise, the other big question mark going into the film's production run was centered around the appointment of Oscar-winner Rami Malek as the film's main villain. As of this morning, Malek has been added to the cast, made official by a video memo issued by the actor himself.

Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw will reprise their roles as M and Q respectively. Naomie Harris is also returning to the fold as Moneypenny, while Rory Kinnear rejoins the regular cast as MI6 chief of staff "Bill Tanner." The film is slated to hit theaters on April 8, 2020.
