Last night, the series finale of one of the most epic television programs aired on HBO, bringing Game Of Thrones to a conclusion and leaving so many fans disgruntled, confused, or entirely dissatisfied. This season, there have been several mistakes that eagle-eyed fans have noticed with many of the accidents taking place in the last three episodes. Although we see rightful endings to some of the major plotlines in the show, the blunders have left a bad taste in many people's mouths, calling on HBO to give Season 8 a second shot. During yesterday's finale, people realized that much like with the errant Starbucks cup, a particular brand of plastic water bottles got an accidental shout-out in Winterfell.
According to The Verge, show producers left a couple of water bottles in plain view of the camera during yesterday's finale episode. With all the criticism of this year's new episodes of the historic series, GoT creators just can't seem to catch a break and we can guarantee that the petition set in place to re-shoot this season will earn some more signatures because of this. As noted by several outlets, the water bottles can be seen several times during last night's episode, including at 46:19 next to Samwell Tarly's foot. Another bottle can be seen tucked under Ser Davos' chair during the same scene.
It's unlikely that Game of Thrones and HBO will actually re-shoot this season. After millions of dollars were invested in the finished product, we're probably going to have to live with the fact that Season 8 contained a few flaws.
