Offset issues a statement after rumors spread that Ric Flair is dead.

Ric Flair's suffered from medical issues in the past and pulled through from them each time. Unfortunately, he was taken to the hospital yesterday for a "very serious" emergency which prompted rumors that the legendary wrestler died. Those rumors have been shut down by Ric's family who said that he's expected to make a full recovery soon.

Despite Ric Flair's family making statements regarding the wrestler's health, Offset also wanted to make it clear that the inspiration behind "Ric Flair Drip" wasn't gone.

"RIC FLAIR IS NOT DEAD U DUMB ASS BLOGS," he wrote on Twitter. "WTF U GETTING YOUR INFO FROM JIST TALKED TO MY MAN GOD IS WITH HIM HE HAS NOT PASSED AWAY STUPID ASS MF DONT WISH DEATH ON MY FRIEND HE HAD A LONG LIFE AND HE DONE IT ALL SOME BAD BUT MAJORITY GOOD HE IS A LEGEND GOD BLESS YOU RIC GET WELL."

Flair's son-in-law issued a statement this morning, explaining that the reports that emerged made it seem like Ric Flair's condition was worse than it was.

"This is not a last-minute surprise surgery to family [members]. I knew that he was going to be having a procedure done today. I don't think it's nearly as grave or serious as TMZ would have us believe because Ric is in good spirits about it, knew it was happening," Conrad Thompson said.
