Durant is currently out of the Warriors lineup with a right calf strain.

Kevin Durant has been a monster for the Golden State Warriors in this year's playoffs thanks to some otherworldly performances where he put up over 40 points. Durant's playoff run was cut short thanks to a right calf injury that has kept him out of the lineup for the team's last few games, including the start of the Western Conference Finals. While it is unknown when Durant will return, the Warriors have yet to have any trouble without him.

They won their first game of the West Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 116-94 as Steph Curry and Klay Thompson went off. While speaking to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, Seth Curry of the Blazers spoke about the Durant-less Warriors and had some very interesting comments.

“I think they are harder to guard (without Durant),” Curry said. “They move around faster when he’s not out there. They’re definitely not a better team, but they’re harder to guard. Obviously, they play a different style of basketball when Steph and Klay (Thompson) are the focal points offensively, and we haven’t played that team in a while. We’ve got to reshift our focus and make some adjustments coming into Game 2.”

Seth and the rest of the Trail Blazers will be looking to tie up their series tonight as Game 2 goes down in Oakland at 9 P.M. EST.
