Kyle Lowry has been notorious over the last few years for going missing in the playoffs. Even this year, Lowry has been heavily criticized for his lackluster performances which have left Kawhi Leonard alone to carry the team. On Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Lowry changed the narrative by having a fantastic performance where he put up 30 points. Despite the huge game from the Raptors veteran, the team lost by a score of 108-100. The Raptors had the lead heading into the fourth quarter but were outscored 32-17 in the final frame as the rest of the team went 0-15 from the floor. After the game, Lowry spoke about how difficult the final quarter was.
"Pretty frustrating," Lowry said. "Fourth quarter killed us. They outplayed us in the fourth quarter. They got a little bit more aggressive. They made some big shots, made some big plays. It sucks when you lose like that. But we had a chance. We've got to learn from it, make an adjustment. [We have to] stay even-keeled ... not too high, not too low. Just look at the film and get better."
The Raptors had a chance to steal home-court from the Bucks but are now down 0-1 in the series instead. They'll have a chance to tie up the series on Friday night in Milwaukee.
