Kanye West took his Sunday Service to Coachella today, Easter Sunday. Mr. West was originally rumored to headline the event, but he allegedly denied the massive festival's offer because they could not build a stage to his liking. It doesn't get more Kanye than that. No harm, no foul though, as Kanye decided to give the Coachella audience an exclusive performance that was more special than a headlining spot would have been. Kanye blessed those at the festival with his Sunday Service, and brought along special guests as well.
DMX, Kid Cudi, Teyana Taylor, and Chance the Rapper all made appearances during Kanye's nearly two-hour performance. Mr. West also debuted a new song while he performed on Easter Sunday. The track, entitled "Water," finds Mr. West crooning in Autotune about the healing powers of the water. Washing away your sins is something that is forever connected to Easter, so it was the perfect time for him to debut the single. Possibly, this is a taste of Yandhi. Other than that, Mr. West spent most of his time performing songs from his long catalog. Check out some clips from Kanye's Sunday Service at Coachella below.
