Kanye West was supposed to perform at Coachella this year as a headlining act but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Apparently, Kanye wanted to build a dome for his performance which the organizers of the festival weren't necessarily down for. However, they found an alternative for Kanye. Instead of headlining one of the night's, he'll be bringing Sunday Service to Polo Grounds for a special Easter Sunday performance.
Coachella has unveiled the location and other details surrounding Kanye's special Sunday Service for Easter. The performance will take place at "the mountain" in camping with doors for the special event opening at 6 a.m. The performance itself will take place at 9 a.m. while brunch will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Coachella will be serving everything from "plant-based breakfast burritos and fresh acai bowls, to decadent-yet-nostalgic bagels dishes and chicken & waffles." They also advise attendees to find the Bloody Mary bar in camping. Coachella also revealed shuttle bus details which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Coachella also laid down the rules for items that are and aren't allowed on the grounds during the performance which are pretty standard. You could check out the list of rules right here.
For those of you who won't be able to attend the second weekend of Coachella, YouTube will be streaming the sets from that day including 'Ye's Sunday Service. This marks the first time in Coachella history that both weekends will be streamed live.
