Hunt believes he has turned over a new leaf.

Kareem Hunt was embroiled in a ton of controversy back in November of 2018 when footage from a Cleveland hotel was released which showed him shoving and kicking a woman on the ground. It was a pretty shocking visual which led to his release from the Kansas City Chiefs. After months of uncertainty, the Cleveland Browns decided to sign Hunt to a contract. Hunt was recently hit with an eight-game suspension from the NFL although he'll be able to come back for the second half of the season.

Hunt is currently at the Browns' voluntary workouts and spoke to the media about his incident. As Hunt explained, he wants to apologize to the victim but hasn't gotten the chance yet, according to TMZ.

"I have not, but if I was to see her, I would apologize to her face," Hunt explained. "But, I have not had the chance to do that. I don't know any ways of contacting her. I have not."

Hunt also described how he has turned to religion in recent months and is actually being baptized on Sunday which he feels will make him "reborn."

The Browns running back was also given a co-sign from quarterback Baker Mayfield today, so it's safe to say that Hunt is being welcomed back into the league with open arms.
