UFC 229 features a marquee matchup between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. It was highly anticipated with people split on who would ultimately come out victorious. In the end, Nurmagomedov pulled off the big win but afterward, a huge brawl ensued as Khabib jumped over the cage and went into the crowd while McGregor was on the ground. The Nevada State Athletic Commission eventually handed out suspensions to both fighters on Tuesday, with Khabib receiving a nine-month suspension from fighting in Vegas, while McGregor got six months.

Now, Khabib's manager, Ali Abdelaziz is saying that the fighter is very upset with the decision and won't fight in Nevada even after his suspension expires.

"He's done with Vegas for giving his brothers such harsh punishment," Abdelaziz told ESPN. "He loves MSG[Madison Square Garden]. Lots of his fans live around there, and New York has always been good to him. He misses fighting in New York."

Meanwhile, McGregor doesn't seem too upset with the decision as he tweeted saying "I am thankful for the Nevada athletic commissions fair assessment and handling of the brawl incident. It was not my intention to land the final blow of the night on my opponent’s blood relative. It’s just how it played out."

McGregor was fined an additional $50,000 while Khabib was fined $500,000.
