After winning the women's Royal Rumble match at Sunday's pay-per-view event, WWE Smackdown superstar Becky Lynch didn't waste much time challenging Raw Women's champion, Ronda Rousey.
Lynch made an appearance on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw to officially declare she's going after the former UFC champion's title at Wrestlemania 35.
"You, me and everyone else here knows that I could re-break your face faster than you can say, 'Nia Jax,'" Rousey responded after being challenged by the Irish Lass Kicker (H/T TMZ Sports).
She continued, "You, me and everyone else here knows that I have the ability to kill you with my bare hands without even breaking a sweat. And, the only thing stopping me is my decision not to!"
"You gotta learn something here honey -- any ring I step into is mine. I own the ground under my feet and I'm gonna own you at Wrestlemania."
Lynch and Rousey have been feuding for months, so it's certainly not a surprise that the big payoff will come at Wrestlemania. The two were originally planned to face off in a champion vs champion bout at the Survivor Series PPV in November, but Lynch suffered a broken nose just days before the event and was unable to compete.
Wrestlemania 35 will take place at MetLife Stadium on April 7. Rousey vs Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship has a real shot at being the first ever women's match to main event WWE's biggest show of the year.
